Our Missions In Syria Communautary Development

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

In 1996, we founded another shelter where different social programs were being implemented.

In 2007, we opened a listening center and developed the first confidential and anonymous helpline to listen to and help victims of domestic violence. Since the Syrian civil war broke out in 2011, we have never ceased to offer, with our partners, services to persons in need, by extending our care to displaced locals and Iraqi refugees. We provide emergency care as well as psychological, medical, social, and educational support.

PSYCHOSOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT

IN OUR CENTERS, WE ORGANIZE RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDRE EVERY WEEK IN ORDER TO:

  • Increase opportunities for children from the most vulnerable and displaced families to return to normal life with dignity
  • Improve the livelihoods of the most vulnerable and displaced families who are unable to provide for themselves
  • Allow children and young people to enter school or work according to their age
  • Offer psychological, social, and educational support
  • Promote the emancipation of women
