Assistance to women in prison
Since 1996, we have a pastoral mission in the north-west of Syria. We visit women and young girls in prison, as well as girls living in a public shelter. We also work with the families of refugees in cooperation with international organizations.
With our partners, we ensure contact between foreign prisoners and their embassies.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS IN PRISONS
Our objective is to:
- Morally and spiritually support detained women and girls by being present and listening without discrimination or judgment, in order to encourage reconciliation and kindle hope in a bright future;
- Provide basic needs for detained women, girls, and infants, including food, hygiene, clothing and medical care;
- Contribute to the rehabilitation of young women and girls in a protective environment within their families or in our shelter;
- Facilitate the reintegration of young women and girls into society by offering them education and internships, allowing them access to school or professional training.
