Today, the Good Shepherd Sisters’ mission is carried out through:
- Shelters for women and children, including one for underage girls
- A primary healthcare center
- Social and community centers
- A school
Since 1935, GSS shelters welcome women and children victims of domestic violence.

- To receive, protect, aid, and ensure the safety of women victims of injustice and violence;
- To provide them with psychological, social, and legal support to enable their emancipation;
- To defend women’s rights by helping them exercise such rights;
- To reinforce and develop their professional skills;
- To guide them towards improved social and familial reintegration.

- To protect vulnerable children and give them a safe place to live;
- To guide them;
- To defend their rights and help exercise them, particularly rights regarding education and development;
- To ensure that they have a good quality of life and an adequate educational program to help them face life’s difficulties and offer them access to a dignified future;
- To fortify the family structure for stable reintegration.
