Our Missions In Lebanon Communautary Development

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND A PERSONALIZED GUIDANCE

Since its opening in 2003, the GSS social center has been organizing social and educational activities for hundreds of women, men, and children. Without discriminating on the basis of race, nationality, or religion, the center welcomes every person who seeks help. It promotes and contributes to social cohesion among different communities and calls for tolerance and peaceful coexistence between persons of different origins. Recently, the center’s team has established ties with many nomadic families, urging them to take part in the center’s educational activities and workshops. Deeply affected by the aftermath of the civil war, to this day the Bekaa region faces great economic and social challenges. The deterioration of the education system requires the intervention of supportive structures.

  • Protect children against risks that undermine their development through prevention programs
  • Establish direct links with parents to help them restore their parental capacities by offering conferences and workshops as well as providing them with personalized support
  • Provide a healthy environment for children and women
